School Shootings

I think the ones who have been doing the shootings aren't ones that just snapped and shot the ones who bully them, but instead they do this because of the physiologic damage that has been done to them. I think bullying alone doesn't cause someone to do this, but the fact that they have no communication with someone older them (Parent, Teacher, sibling). They talk to friends, which at most might be a few years older than them and wouldn't know how to handle the situation. Yet you can't blame adults for "not asking whats wrong" because, they can't read their minds, they should have confidence in someone and tell them how they feel instead of acting on there emotions negatively. Also the fact that they blame music, video games, and generally media on things such as this may have little effect on those who do the shootings, but in reality the pressure that is being put on one may make them just act on rational decisions.

I think the shooter should be tried as an adult being that he is seventeen and able to make his own decisions. I also think he should get a large sentencing for his crime. I don't think that the shooting of students should be taken lightly and he should be punished harshly. The maximum was life and prison and if he got that I think it's be fair. If he doesn't get life he should still get a long sentencing.
